Price includes: Membership to Yoga Journey through duration of program Meditation Classes Yoga Journey Workshops 10% off Products during the training Monthly Reiki Healing Circle & Guided Meditation ******************************************************************* FEE SCHEDULE A $300 non-refundable deposit is required with application to apply by SEPTEMBER 15, 2008.  $1500 due upon receipt of letter of acceptance to the program.  The remaining $500 + $175 for books are due by OCTOBER 1, 2008.  Payment accepted by check or money order.  Students requesting to use a credit card as form of payment for training will be charged a 3.5% convenience fee.  All payments must be received in full prior to first class or trainee will not be allowed to attend first class and will have to pay to make time up.  Refunds will be given for cancellations up to two weeks prior to date of teacher training, minus 10% of full tuition.  Credit only to a future teacher training is given for cancellations made within 2 weeks or less prior to the teacher training.  If Yoga Journey cancels the teacher training, a full refund will be issued.  Yoga Journey reserves the right to amend this policy at its sole discretion. ABOUT THE PROGRAM Start your journey towards teaching yoga with Yoga Journey!  Improve and intensify your own personal practice or move deeper and inspire others with your teaching Our teacher training program meets the requirements of the 200- Hour Yoga Alliance Certification.  Yoga Alliance is the nationally and internationally recognized registry for yoga teachers and yoga schools.  A certificate will be given at the completion of the program along with applications for insurance and to become a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.  CPR with AED is heavily encouraged for all students to take. The program allows some flexibility to fit your schedule.  The approximate training times will be 2-6pm on Saturdays and 7 Sundays 12:30pm-8:30pm during the training weekends. If you are unable to do all weekends you will be able to make up a maximum of 3 classes at an additional fee of $20/ hour to cover teaching time.  Each hour of this program missed must be made up with teacher the time was missed with at the cost of the student. INSPIRE THROUGH TEACHING WITH YOGA JOURNEY Learn how to teach a heart-filled, powerful & energetic Vinyasa Class Intensive study of over 50 yoga postures including Sanskrit names of postures Sanskrit alphabet Modifications for postures Teaching Methodology Anatomy and Physiology and its' effects on Yoga through postures Yoga History, Philosophy and Ethics Classes on chanting, chakras, bandhas, mudras, kriyas, restorative yoga, yoga modifications for pregnancy, storytelling and themes, pranayama and meditation Yoga Journey Philosophy & Love of Teaching Hands on Assists & Adjustments with practical use of Thai Yoga Massage Therapy Language and Voice Awareness Lots of Teaching Practice Independent Study Project & Presentation Principles of demonstration, observation, assisting/correcting and instruction Nutrition for yoga Satsang Yoga as a business APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS You are eligible to apply if you have studied yoga consistently for a minimum of 1 year and have an established personal practice.  It is required that you take a minimum of 3 classes at Yoga Journey with Sinda in order to be eligible for this Teacher Training.  This is essential for perspective students to be able to understand the style & energy of the studio!  Applications and tuition information is available at the studio.
