It can be used for stress reduction, relaxation and to promote healing and balance. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word Rei, which means universal, higher spiritual consciousness, and Ki, which means life force energy. Reiki is spiritually guided life force energy. The ability to channel Reiki energy cannot be learned by studying it. This ability is transferred to the student by the Reiki Master during an attunement process. The Reiki I class consists of history and philosophy of Reiki as well as the techniques for giving Reiki to oneself and others. The student receives one attunement which opens a deep energetic channel for this spiritually guided life force energy. The vibrational rate is raised, which allows for powerful healing. Reiki II REIKI II taught by Elyse Savoy, R.N., Usui Ryoho Reiki Master and assisted by Debbie Taylor, R.N., L.M.T., Usui Ryoho Reiki Master The second Level of the Usui system of Reiki opens the students energy channel even wider. Many say a quantum leap in energy is experienced. The student learns three level II symbols that enable the student to acess further energy levels. During the class the student learnst to use these symbols for even greater healing. These symbols allow one to send energy to groups of people, through time and space, to the past, present and future and anywhere in the universe. The class includes the level II attunement as well as ample practice time using these symbols. The origin and history of the symbols is explored. After this class, the student will be able to fully uses these symbols and understan their meaning for use in the healing of themselves and others. Pre-requisite: Reiki level I Cost: $200
